Tungsten Electrodes

The green undoped tungsten electrode is designed for welding with sinusoidal alternating current, especially for light metals, and is not suitable for DC welding.

Due to its inertia and high work function, it prevents the formation of a pure square wave, making it unsuitable for use with inverter power sources.

The ideal replacement for the green electrode is the E3® tungsten electrode.
