The E3® tungsten electrode (purple) from ABICOR BINZEL, doped with rare earth oxides, is suitable for both DC and AC welding and can weld virtually any metal.

It offers excellent ignition properties, making it ideal for automated processes, and maintains a consistently low electrode temperature during welding.

Compared to thoriated electrodes, the E3® electrode provides better current-carrying capacity, longer service life, and is safer, as thoriated electrodes are harmful and should only be used in exceptional cases.
